Overview
The Gatway Hotel forms part of the Gateway Theatre of shopping. This hotel provides excellent accommodation and a vast range of nearby entertainment and a huge selection of restaurants including around 380 stores and 38 restaurants. This hotel is situated in the middle of Durban business district and has confrernce facilties that can accomodate up to 600 delegates aking it an ideal location for local conferences.
This hotel is also known as the Green Hotel as they strive to be eco-friendly and this is evident through two main designs. Firstly, the green screen that surrounds the front of the hotel. This is a shading technique that acts as a solar shield as well as an eye-catching design. Secondly, the rooms have been set up in such a way that things like your lilghts and climate control swich off when you leave saving fuel and electricity.
